Classic Cakes and Confections: Ella and Neil Levinson bring pure imagination to every delicious and whimsical cake they create. It begins the moment you meet them: She, the Russian born, internationally schooled pastry pro with boundless creativity and a sharp, decisive way with the cake knife. And he, the Canadian born builder turned baker, with the curly hair and calming voice of a certain beloved confection maker.
AFM: What does it mean to you to be a Best of Our Valley winner?
Classic Cakes and Confections: It is great to be recognized as the top bakery in the Valley by AFM readers.
AFM: What’s your favorite part about being the Best of Our Valley’s Most Influential in Valley Food?
Classic Cakes and Confections: We take pride in everything we do and to be recolonized as the top wedding cake maker in the Valley is humbling.
AFM: What advice would you give to others to be the “best” in your field?
Classic Cakes and Confections: To be best at something you must believe in what you do and do it to the best of your abilities.
AFM: Have you seen any benefits as a result of being a BOOV winner?
Classic Cakes and Confections: It surely doesn’t hurt to have the accreditation as being BOOV winners.
AFM: How do you put your “best” foot forward every day?
Classic Cakes and Confections: Loving what I do and constantly being challenged by our customers keeps me moving forward.
