AFM: In a brief 2-3 sentences, please tell us a little bit about the Russo & Steele!
Russo & Steele: For nearly 20 years, Russo and Steele has enjoyed a loyal following of car crazed enthusiasts who value the intimate “Auction In The Round” experience that is unique to our intensely focused brand of collector car auction production each January in Scottsdale. Now located at Salt River Fields, our new venue is a spectacular facility, providing a world class environment in which to deliver what is now billed as “The worlds most exciting auction” by industry trade publications worldwide. With 5 days of auction action, 800+ collector cars, dozens of automotive centric vendors, along with easy access and parking, Russo and Steele is already preparing for our best auction yet this January!
AFM: What does it mean to you to be a Best of Our Valley winner?
Russo & Steele: For the second consecutive year, we are extremely proud to have been acknowledged by the AZ Foothills faithful. This accolade excites our Team to continue to excel, already working to offer new and improved elements to our 19th edition in Scottsdale!
AFM: What’s your favorite part about being the Best of Our Valley’s Best Automobile Auction?
Russo & Steele: I pass by our award plaques in the HQ Office every day, and it always brings a smile to my face knowing that so many apricated the hard work of our Staff and adopted Russo and Steele as their favorite Automobile Auction in the Valley!
AFM: Have you seen any benefits as a result of being a BOOV winner?
Russo & Steele: Most certainly. Fellow enthusiasts often mention the BOOV award to me when we attend collector car events nation wide. Most notably however, is the Team at Russo and Steele – who are very proud to have the tremendous amount of hard work they tirelessly invest recognized by this honor.
AFM: How does your team put its “best” foot forward every day?
Russo & Steele: I am fortunate to have passionate fellow collector car enthusiasts on our Team. Its amazing how dramatically different the mood, culture and resulting level of customer service is, when those within the organization are engaged because they WANT to be – not because they HAVE to be. (just for a paycheck) There is little doubt, the core essence of Russo and Steele is perpetuated by our Team who are fellow genuine car enthusiasts as well!
