For over the past 20 years, we’ve celebrated the Valley’s best. From the top businesses and professionals to the people who make it all happen, Arizona Foothills Magazine’s annual Best of Our Valley contest recognizes Arizona’s crème de la crème across more than 400 categories. From the best doctors and best resort down to the best cup of coffee you can find around town, each Best of titleholder is chosen by those who know the city best – our readers.
Each week, we’ll be highlighting individual winners from Best of Our Valley 2019, who share their advice, insights and thoughts on what it means to be a part of this exclusive list. Winners will be featured in the April 2019 issue of Arizona Foothills Magazine, a tell-all guide to the best people and places in the Valley of the Sun, as chosen by its residents.
The Best of spotlight is on This Little Doggie Stayed Home, who claimed Best Dog Training. Congrats, This Little Doggie Stayed Home!
AFM: In a brief 2-3 sentences, please tell us a little bit about This Little Doggie Stayed Home:
This Little Doggie Stayed Home: For the past 8 years, This Little Doggie Stayed Home has specialized in training and behavior modification for dogs of all breeds, ages, medical conditions, and behavioral challenges. The fearful, feral and anxious dogs have become my “known for” niche. Oftentimes, these dogs don’t have fast progress, and we celebrate little victories, but they are by far, the most rewarding to watch unpack and become a normal dog. I love being able to the help owners help their dogs be the best they can be, and am grateful to be a part of so many wonderful journeys!
AFM: What does it mean to you to be a Best of Our Valley winner?
This Little Doggie Stayed Home: It’s an honor that my clients have voted for me, I wouldn’t be where I am without them!
