From the best doctors and best resort down to the best cup of coffee you can find around town, each Best of titleholder is chosen by those who know the city best – our readers.

The Best of spotlight is on Cheeky Chic Baby & Kids Boutique, who claimed both the Valley’s Best Kid’s Clothing Store. Congrats Geri & Chrissy of Cheeky Chic Baby & Kids Boutique!
AFM: In a brief 2-3 sentences, please tell us a little bit about Cheeky Chic Baby & Kids Boutique!
Geri of Cheeky Chic Baby & Kids (CCBK): Cheeky Chic Baby & Kids Boutique was inspired by my grandson, Chase, who was born in 2013. As avid boutique shoppers, Chrissy and I wanted to bring a bit of our Brooklyn, New York roots to Scottsdale! We are on the search constantly for all the latest and trendiest fashions in the kids industry! We carry all major brands and also exclusive, hard to find – one of a kind - handmade vintage rock and roll designer apparel for kids! We also zeroed in on the boy’s fashion market since we felt there was a lack in edgy and cool clothes for them! We carry sizes ranging from newborn to size 14, and will be sizing up and creating a tween/teen section in our store!
AFM: What does it mean to you to be a Best of Our Valley winner?
CCBK: Being a winner of Best of Our Valley is so meaningful in many ways. It is a very special title and shows us that our customers love our store as they took the time to vote for our store! We feel blessed to have won this awesome title 3 years in a row! We truly love what we do 🙂
AFM: What’s your favorite part about being the Best of Our Valley’s Best Kid’s Clothing Store?
CCBK: Our favorite part of being the Best of Our Valley’s Best Kid’s Clothing Store reinforces us that our hard work and passion is resonating with the community! We are thrilled that our customers love our clothing choices for their children.
AFM: What advice would you give to others to be the “best” in your field?
CCBK: Great customer service is the key to having a great business! We believe that it is so important to listen to your customers suggestions, be super helpful and have a good rapport with people. Getting involved with your community is something we are passionate about and we hold castings for two fashion shows per year! This helps to bring our community together in a fun event and also shows off our adorable clothing!
AFM: Have you seen any benefits as a result of being a BOOV winner?
CCBK: Absolutely! Being a BOOV winner has brought many new locals and visitors through our doors. It also inspires us to continue to work hard in bringing the absolute strongest, unique, and best kids clothing to the Valley.
