Businesswoman Lisa Rickert launched the furniture company Ave Home in 2015 after noticing a gap in the market for revivalism. The New Orleans-based company revives classic designs in a variety of styles including Louis XV, Swedish Gustavian, Hollywood Regency and Mid-Century Modern.
This fall, Ave Home launched their AVE Raw collection, which is an affordable collection of quality unfinished wood furniture that can be featured on its own or finished for a custom look.
“AVE Raw gives designers the opportunity to provide their clients with one of a kind pieces that can be custom finished to work in any space,” says Rickert.
The collection is currently being presented at High Point Market, a must-see home furnishing event in North Carolina. The market runs through tomorrow, and after that it will be available through select showroom and boutiques across the country.
The nineteen-piece collection includes a mixture of occasional, dining and living room furniture in a variety of styles ranging from neo-classical to light industrial. Each piece is crafted by skilled artisans using sustainably sourced woods.
AVE Raw is being debuted at High Point Market alongside the company’s finished line, AVE Collections, and with works by New Orleans artist Holly Mabry Poole and lighting designer Julie Neill.
