Design Spotlight: Desert Prairie

Located in Estancia Golf Club, the 5,325-sq.-ft. Desert Prairie, from Scottsdale’s Drewett Works, has been the recipient of several design awards–and it’s easy to see why. The home, found near base of Scottsdale-based landmark Pinnacle Peak, features a warm palate with clean lines; copper, undulating limestone and Madre Perla quartzite all blend into this low-slung abode.

The design of the dwelling is considered “a desert interpretation of a prairie-styled home.”

Planning of this residence was very complex as it weaved among the boulders, as seen below. The home was also unique in that it was in close proximity to adjacent properties.

Desert Prairie was winner of “Best Custom Home 4,000 – 8,000 sq ft, Award of Merit” 2018 Gold Nugget Awards.
