How did you get started in the design industry? My career began when I took a  highly valued summer internship at Taliesin Architects while attending Arizona State University for my masters degree. I had the opportunity to on original Frank Lloyd Wright designs.

What is your favorite project in Arizona? The iconic Wigwam Resort (pictured above).

What inspires you and your work? People and place (site).

Where do you escape in the summer? There is no escape…but usually to water.

What is something timeless every home should have? Human scale and natural light.

What is considered trendy in homes at this time? Grey tones.

What do you consider your biggest professional accomplishment? Running a successful firm for the last 14 years.

What advice do you have for young people or students hoping to pursue a design career? To also gain a good sense of business, legal and sales.
