The community will offer 63 meticulously designed residences, with prices starting in the low $2 million range. A select collection of penthouses, priced from $7 million to over $10 million, will also be available. These residences range from one-bedroom-plus-den to three-bedroom-plus-den layouts, with sizes varying from 1,500 square feet to over 4,800 square feet. The blend of luxurious living with unparalleled mountain views promises to make Summit by Olson Kundig the pinnacle of desert living.

Recognized by Architectural Digest’s AD100 list, Kundig is renowned for its visionary designs in some of the world’s most exclusive locations. The design of these residences harmonizes with the rugged beauty of Camelback Mountain, incorporating deep cantilevered rooflines, textured facades of weathered metal and stone, and expansive terraces to foster a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.

“Our design integrates with the mountain landscape, where red sandstone meets the open sky. Local stone anchors the structure to its setting, while refined metal screens respond to the shifting desert light, creating an ever-evolving architectural expression. This project is a celebration of the desert’s spirit – nature and design coming together,” Principal and Owner Kirsten Ring Murray said.

The residences will feature luxurious finishes inspired by the desert environment, Olson Kundig-designed indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and handcrafted hardware from the Tom Kundig Collection. The result is an extraordinary fusion of beauty and functionality.

In collaboration with bulthaup, the custom kitchen designs seamlessly integrate with the living spaces. The kitchens have state-of-the-art Sub-Zero and Wolf Contemporary Series appliances, full-height wood cabinetry, and quartz countertops. Optional upgrades such as pull-out pantries, small appliance garages, and wine fridges provide added convenience and sophistication.

Located adjacent to Ascent’s private Mountain Club, residents can access art-infused spaces to promote wellness, relaxation, and social connections. The club includes a private pool, fitness and movement rooms, a great room, a games room, and a catering kitchen. Local artists’ work is showcased throughout, creating a culturally enriching and relaxing environment.

Each of the twin Summit Residences buildings will feature private rooftop terraces. Homeowners will also have access to The Phoenician®, a Luxury Collection Resort, via an optional resident membership program that provides exclusive privileges, discounts on world-class amenities, and year-round access to the resort’s multiple pools, renowned golf course, spa, and dining options. A scenic walking path through a cactus garden connects Ascent to the Phoenician Resort, allowing residents to immerse themselves in its offerings fully.

“Summit by Olson Kundig offers a remarkable combination of timeless design and immersive desert living, set against the Camelback Mountain,” Vice President of Development for Replay Destinations Brianne Kelsey said. “We are proud to bring this extraordinary architectural experience to life for future homeowners.”

The Summit Residences will mark the final phase of the development, with construction slated to begin in the summer of 2025 and completion expected in late 2027. Sales officially start in March, and interested buyers can now register for more information, including pricing and upcoming sales events, at summitolsonkundig.com.
