Minimal Living Concepts Expands to Full-Size Homes

Founded in 2021 to simplify the home-buying process, Arizona-based Minimal Living Concepts has grown from specializing in backyard guest homes to expanding its business to include full-size, semi-custom primary dwellings. Led by co-founders Zander Diamont and Jared Amzallag, MLC is set on creating a seamless path to buying new construction homes entirely online.

Minimal Living Concepts has expanded its offerings after completing over 100 guest home builds. With a unique focus on digital marketing and technology, the team aims to offer homebuyers an online platform to quickly design, select, and order a new home without the hassle of visiting a showroom or interacting with multiple contractors.

Diamont and Amzallag, who met while running digital agencies and selling luxury real estate in Los Angeles, envisioned a future where purchasing a home could be as easy as ordering a car online. In their vision, homebuyers could choose from pre-designed models, make a few personalized selections, and order a home to be built at their desired location. Now, that vision has become a reality.

Through their website, buyers can explore three modern floor plans with full transparency on pricing and estimated project timelines. Once a buyer selects a model, they can schedule a site visit and receive a fixed-price quote, ensuring the price won’t change throughout the process. Minimal Living Concepts handles the entire project from contract to completion.

The company’s new semi-custom homes retain the same minimalist, modern aesthetic that has made their guest homes popular. The smallest, the M1, is a single-story, 2,959-square-foot home with three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and soaring 21-foot ceilings. Prices for the M1 begin at $1.175 million.

The M2, a two-story home with 3,659 square feet, features four bedrooms plus flexible space, 4.5 bathrooms, and ceilings that range from 10 to 20 feet. The starting price for the M2 is $1.43 million. The M3 is a 3,430-square-foot, single-story home with a split layout, a vaulted great room, and a distinct separation between the parent and children’s wings. It includes four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and 10- to 20-foot ceilings, with prices starting at $1.38 million.

Minimal Living Concepts offers the ability to customize each plan, with more floor plans and facades in development for future release.

“We focus on the same attention to detail for the full-size homes we applied to our smaller guest homes,” Diamont said. “For example, the M1 features a striking exterior with charred wood and white brick, creating a timeless and modern façade. Expansive living spaces flow seamlessly inside, with floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outdoors in.”

While Minimal Living Concepts is now offering full-size homes to clients in the Phoenix area, the company is also expanding its footprint with three spec home projects in Arcadia, which are set for completion in the first half of 2025.

“Our initial focus on ADUs allowed us to refine our processes and technology, making it easier to provide a smooth experience for our clients,” Amzallag said. “Now, we’re excited to extend our full-size homes to those who want a modern, streamlined approach to building a new home.”
