1. Serge Azria’s Malibu, Calif. compound
Sold for: $177M
Serge Azria, fashion CEO and creative director of such global brands as Equipment and Joie, sold his oceanfront Malibu estate for a cool $177 million making it the most expensive property ever sold in California. Located in the coveted Paradise Cove neighborhood, the property spans seven acres on two lots.
2. Donald Trump’s former Palm Beach, Fla. estate
Sold for: $122.7M
New York financier Scott Shleifer paid cash for this two-acre Palm Beach mansion that was once owned by Donald Trump. Featuring nine bedrooms and a guest house totaling 21,000 square feet, the house is the most ever paid for in Florida.
3. The Ford family’s former Southampton, NY estate
Sold for: $101M
Boasting unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean across 42 acres, this 20,000-square-foot Jule Pond estate home was originally built in 1957 by Henry Ford II, then the president of the Ford Motor Company, and was renovated in 2008 with the now current 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.
4. Luxury Hong Kong apartment
Sold for: $82.2M
In November 2021, an apartment in Hong Kong’s prestigious Peak neighborhood reportedly sold for $82.2 million, making it the most expensive in Asia in terms of price per square footage.
5. Hockey player Patrick Dovigi’s Aspen Mansion
Sold for: $72.5M
Hockey player-turned-entrepreneur Patrick Dovigi purchased this 22,000-square-foot compound over the summer that broke the record as Aspen’s priciest home yet.
