In celebration of International Day of Happiness this Saturday, March 20, WalletHub has released a report on the Happiest Cities in America.
In order to determine where people are most content with their lives, the personal finance website compared more than 180 of the largest U.S. cities across 31 key indicators of happiness in light of the average American experiencing increased stress levels that have risen significantly for the first time since 2007 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These indicators range from depression to income-growth rate to average daily leisure time.
According to the study, Scottsdale (#25), Gilbert (#37) and Chandler (#49) are among the top 50 happiest cities in the entire country.
