Toy Barn, a luxury storage company, is celebrating its growth in 2024 and promising eight new locations by 2026. As one of the “leading developers in the desert southwest” for luxury garage spaces, Toy Barn’s storage units allow Valley residents to store numerous “toys” – cars, motorcycles, boats, and RVs – in one space. By 2026, the company plans to have 700,000 square feet and 543 units available.
After the business’s first successful setup in Peak View Community opened in 2010, they went to work, opening seven more properties across 14 years: Lone Mountain, Lone Mountain North, Chandler Airpark, and two at Scottsdale Airpark. Two additional facilities are set to open: Chandler Airpark North this fall and Dove Valley in 2026.
Jason Phillips and his father opened the first Toy Barn in 2010 after learning about the demand from downsizing homeowners and people seeking more space to store their boats, cars, RVs, and collectibles.
“We are proud to offer ‘toy’ owners the unique and customizable space they need for proper storage and look forward to providing even more storage communities across the Valley in the future,” he said.
Each unit in the garage has a minimum of 20-foot ceilings, air conditioning, sewer and water, electric, and overhead lighting. Buyers can also choose to use the Wi-Fi capabilities and add loft space, built-in wet bars, or restrooms. With individualized flooring and paint options, these privately owned spaces can suit the desires of any customer looking to store their toys. Units are governed by CC&Rs and an owner’s association, with gated security for each property.
Every Toy Barn has an exquisitely crafted clubhouse with lounge seating, kitchen space, and communal gathering areas for socializing or private events. The Toy Barn community at Lone Mountain connects monthly at a Cars & Coffee event where family and friends can mingle and chat about their favorite makes, years, and models.
Garage bays at the Chandler Airpark North and Dove Valley properties are now available. Toy Barn prices start in the high $300s and vary based on size and location. Like condominiums, owners can “build equity in their units and re-sell them.” For more information, visit toybarnstorage.com.
