The first phase of the Optima Kierland opened up to a highly receptive market in April 2016, and exceeded preliminary sales goals. The high-rise luxury condominium and boutique rental community in the North Scottsdale Kierland neighborhood is now beginning construction of the project’s first 12-story condominium tower.
The Optima Kierland has already sold more than 80 residences, with prices ranging from the low $300s to more than $4.5 million.
“We’ve enjoyed great reception in the market, with high demand from local buyers, and have exceeded our initial sales goals,” said David Hovey Jr., president of Optima, the project developer.
The tower will include a variety of one- to five-bedroom homes that range from approximately 720 to more than 6,500 square feet. Buyers can choose from over 30 floor plans in the condominium tower, and may also even combine and customize residences to create their ideal home.
The tower was designed for a maximum of 220 residences, but the final number will be fewer due to the combining of homes. This customization option has been a very strong selling point among homebuyers so far.
“It’s exciting to see Optima Kierland start taking shape and we are appreciative of all the people that supported us throughout the process,” said Hovey.
The first condominium residents are expected to begin moving into the Optima Kierland in December 2017, and completion of the tower is planned for August 2018.
As development begins on this first condominium tower, the construction of the Optima Kierland’s 150-residence leasing tower is already well underway. The tower will begin pre-leasing and occupancy in early 2017.
The two towers currently under construction are part of the Optima Kierland’s first phase, and ultimately the community will have four residential towers.
