My family… is my first priority. I love watching the kids accomplish little things like flushing the toilet and perfecting the finger shake my wife uses when she disapproves of something they are doing.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Warren Buffet. I’ve always been intrigued by his path in life. I’m sure the line is long for folks wanting to pick his brain over lunch.
One thing I cannot live without… my iPhone. I depend on it for work updates from my team at the office.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… an astronaut. Then I grew up and realized I would have to go to space. Who wants to do that?! lol
I’m inspired by… innovations in life. I was always mesmerized by Steve Jobs. The guy just created industries out of thin air. That type of creativity and focus on external simplicity really drives a lot of what I currently do as a lawyer.
The one person who motivates me is… my wife. I love the unwavering support she gives me. She has been a great sounding board along the way. Plus, I don’t think I do half as much as she does in a given day.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…the vehicle horn. Isn’t it the most annoying sound in the world? I think we live in a very patient metro area where folks don’t honk that much. But, I would change it to the old school Nokia ring tone. A bit more pleasant.
The perfect day would be… a day at the beach in San Diego. I dream of walking around with my family enjoying the breeze and the sun.
My first job was…working at The Gap. The wall of jeans was a masterpiece once I was done folding them!
My favorite escape… is the golf course. I love the smell of the green grass. Although I end up wanting to escape the course once I realize what score I’ll be posting after 18.
My life… revolves around my kiddos. I try to surprise them by coming to their school events. The look of excitement gets me every time.
I’m currently working on… the spring event, Brokers for Kids (“BFK”) / Agents Benefiting Children (“ABC”). I am the Chairman for 2016. It is a fundraising event that the Scottsdale Active 20-30 Club puts on where we deploy companies (as a team) in the commercial and residential industries to go raise money via raffle ticket sales for a chance to win a Toyota graciously underwritten by the Valley Toyota Dealers. We put on a thank-you event called the Olympiad at Scottsdale Stadium where the teams can enjoy the day while playing bocce ball, basketball throw, football toss, and baggo (corn hole).
