A typical day in my life includes…
whether I am working at the pharmacy or it is my day off, my day always starts by waking up early. I like to make sure everyone in our household starts their day with a good breakfast. I’m a firm believer in protein in the morning and will make either protein smoothies or smoothie bowls. They are always topped with berries for an extra health boost. The mom in me can rest easily knowing everyone has the energy to get through their morning!

My favorite thing about Arizona…
I absolutely love the Arizona weather! You will never hear me complaining about the heat because that does not lower the temperature. The added bonus is we get to wear adorable sundresses for a good part of the year here!

I’m listening to rap music with my fourteen year old. Most days, I realize it is still on the radio even after I drop him off to school!

When I was younger, I wanted to be…
a psychologist. I still would love that career. Somehow, my first year of college I heard there was a rat lab involved with that major and turned to pharmacy instead. Not sure if that is true but that was the reasoning of my eighteen year old self!

I’m always in awe of other women. The women I know are busy moms, philanthropists, career women, entrepreneurs. I am always inspired and amazed at how much they can accomplish and still show love and care to everyone around them.
The one person who motivates me is…
my mom has always motivated me. She has always believed in me and told me that whatever I set my mind to doing, it could be mine. I am now in my fifties and she is still cheering me on!
If I could change anything in the world it would be…

take a road trip to Sedona, relax, have lunch and enjoy the gorgeous red rock views!
My first job was…
at the beautiful new Goldwater’s Department Store at Paradise Valley Mall when it first opened. It was very southwestern in design and had artwork from renowned artist Fritz Scholder.

reading a magazine. It’s been my escape since I was a young girl stealing my mom’s copies of Glamour.
My life…
can be a bit busy but I absolutely love it! I am completely blessed by a loving husband, healthy and happy children and very close extended family.

delving into my newfound role as an author. I have many new books to come in the future. I love this way of giving back to others.
