waking up at 5:00 am, kissing my wife and kids goodbye, heading to The Hash Kitchen and Hogs n’ Hops and creating the ultimate dining experience for our guests.

in New York City, where my heart still resides.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

I love the vibe and the winter and spring seasons. The most important aspect is that Arizona is turning into a great foodie town with phenomenal chefs and restaurateurs.

One thing I cannot live without…

my hot wife, my three kids, chocolate truffles, extra virgin olive oil and ciabatta bread. I can’t choose just one!

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

an amazing chef like my father Tomaso Maggiore. Wait, I still want to be that good!

I’m inspired by…

great chefs. I receive inspiration from reading menus, seeing concepts being born and watching great restaurateurs in action like Sam Fox of Fox Restaurant Concepts, the Mastro’s Group and LGO Hospitality.

The one person who motivates me is…

my mom, Patricia she always pushes me to be the best husband, father, chef and overall person.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

Yelp ratings, just kidding! I would change the way people dine. I would teach them to enjoy the table, each other and the culinary experience as a whole.

The perfect day would be…

with my family and friends at one of the restaurants. We would be cooking, eating and drinking great wine while enjoying each other’s company.

My first job was…

busboy/ dishwasher at Tomaso’s on 32 street and Camelback.

My favorite escape…

traveling to Sicily .

My life…

is crazy, hard work and never dull. I love that my life is comprised of the wonderful family and friends that I have now.

I’m currently working on…

new concepts that we will be launching in Arizona and Vegas as well as a gourmet fresh pasta line.
