A typical day in my life includes… A typical day in my life starts at around 7am, when I wake up and help my son get ready for school. After that, I head off to work where I spend my time either consulting with patients or performing surgeries. If I have a free morning, I like to work out by lifting weights or doing high-intensity CrossFit-style exercises. By early afternoon, I’m usually finished with work and head home to cook dinner. In my free time, I enjoy reading books or listening to podcasts, and sometimes even working on a jigsaw puzzle. I usually try to get to bed around 10 pm, although my sleep schedule can vary a bit depending on the day.

I was born… I was born in Detroit, Michigan, to two Turkish immigrant parents who are both doctors. Growing up, I had the privilege of spending every summer in Turkey with my grandparents, which exposed me to a bicultural and bilingual upbringing. It was a unique and enriching experience to have the opportunity to immerse myself in different cultures and languages from a young age.

My favorite thing about Arizona… I have to say, my favorite thing about Arizona is a tie between the stunning landscape and the amazing weather. I absolutely adore the mountains and the desert here. Contrary to what many people might think, the desert is bursting with life – there are unique plants and wildlife everywhere you look. Taking a walk in the desert can be a truly rejuvenating experience.

But for me, what really makes Arizona unique is the people. When I first moved here from the Midwest, I left behind all my blood relatives, but I quickly found a welcoming community of people who share similar values and come from all over the country. I’ve made non-blood relatives who have become family to me. And the food scene here is incredible, with a strong Mexican influence that you won’t find in the Midwest.

Overall, Arizona just feels like home to me. I love the diversity of people and cultures, the friendly attitude, and of course, the stunning natural beauty that surrounds us here.

I’m listening to… Currently, I’m listening to Allen Carr’s “How to Quit Drinking Without Willpower” audiobook. I decided to listen to it because I’ve been drinking socially for years, and lately, I’ve noticed how it’s been affecting me emotionally and physically. I saw a pattern in my behavior that I didn’t like and didn’t want to continue. In the past, I’ve experienced similar situations where my emotional state was impacting my physical health. It’s like slowly boiling a frog in water, you don’t notice the temperature increasing until it’s too late. So, I’m trying to be proactive about it and take control of my habits before it’s too late.

My family… When it comes to my family, I think we share the same drive and energy. We truly cherish the time we spend together and enjoy activities such as traveling and boating. When it comes to date nights, we typically prefer to have our son join us as he is an integral part of our family. Another thing we enjoy doing as a family is spending time with our horses. For us, quality time is a priority, and we treasure the memories we create together.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… If I had the opportunity to have dinner with anyone, I would choose Tony Robbins. He’s one of the most inspiring people I know who’s still alive, and I believe I could learn a lot from him. Tony is someone who has a great grasp on personal and spiritual development, as well as professional success. I admire his motivation and his ability to teach others how to manifest their businesses and excel professionally. Even though I’ve never met him in person, I feel like being in his presence could help me absorb some of his knowledge and inspiration. It would be a dream to learn from him and rocket ship my life in so many ways.

One thing I cannot live without… Love, because that’s all we are. At the core of our being is love – both giving and receiving it. Love provides meaning in life and serves as a motivating force to connect with those around us. Fear and love are the two driving forces that shape our lives, and for me, it’s a constant effort to surrender my fears and embrace love and wholeness. By doing so, we tap into our capacity for self-love and can give love to others in a more authentic way.

However, it’s not always easy to recognize our fears and the behaviors we develop to cope with them. It’s a lifelong pursuit, but one that brings me closer to a space of true acceptance and alignment with my values. Ultimately, by prioritizing love and acceptance, we can find purpose and meaning in our lives and bring more positivity and connection to those around us.

When I was younger, I wanted to be… Becoming a doctor was always my dream, and I can’t remember a time when I wanted to do anything else. Unlike many people who change their minds as they grow older, I never questioned this path. For me, the only challenge was deciding what kind of doctor I wanted to be. It took a lot of mental work to overcome my initial certainty and consider other options. But ultimately, choosing the right specialty was a pivotal moment in my life, even more important than deciding to pursue medicine in the first place.

I’m inspired by… I find inspiration in those who have a deep understanding of universal laws and have access to different quantum realities. I know it may sound a bit outlandish, but it’s something I’m truly passionate about. Individuals like Nikola Tesla, and Einstein, who were able to access universal knowledge and receive downloads of information or sudden epiphanies, inspire me. Their genius did not come from traditional learning methods like reading and studying, but from their ability to connect with this universal knowledge. They trusted their instincts and were able to bring their visions to life in our three-dimensional world. It’s a fascinating concept to me, and those who are able to tap into this knowledge are truly inspirational.

The one person who motivates me is… Without a doubt, my biggest motivator is my husband. I can’t even imagine anyone else coming close. When you talk about my immediate family, which includes my son, they are the ones who constantly inspire me to be ambitious and motivated. They always have a long-term goal in mind and are excellent at delaying gratification, which is something I truly admire. They never rest on their laurels and are always manifesting their desires. My husband, who works in the fire department, is a great example of this. He often sends our son quotes that emphasize the importance of hard work and perseverance, and this is reflective of the kind of person he is.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… If I had the power to change one thing in the world, it would be to help people realize that they are perfect just the way they are and that there’s no need to fear anything. As humans, we make decisions based on love and fear, and I believe that if we had a deeper understanding of how connected we are as one entity, like drops in an ocean, we would all have access to universal knowledge and unconditional love. This would create a new consciousness where people behave based on love rather than fear, and we wouldn’t need as many laws or regulations in place. It’s about moving towards a world where people understand their divinity and embrace the power of love.

The perfect day would be… My perfect day would start with a peaceful morning where I don’t have any pressing obligations. I’d begin by meditating, journaling, and pulling oracle cards to set my intentions for the day. I love animals, so I would spend some time taking care of my pets or perhaps visiting a farm or animal sanctuary.

Throughout the day, I would engage in some of my favorite hobbies like singing, painting, dancing, or playing piano. I find joy in creative expression and using my body in different ways.

In the evening, I would cook a delicious meal and gather around a campfire with loved ones. I enjoy spending time in nature and doing yoga to unwind. Sharing stories and spending quality time with friends and family would be the perfect end to a perfect day.

My first job was… When it comes to my work history, my earliest job was as a babysitter at the age of 12. However, my parents didn’t encourage me to pursue typical part-time jobs, like working in restaurants. Instead, they prioritized my education and academic success, with the goal of ultimately getting me into medical school. Looking back, I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to focus on my studies without the added pressure of working outside of school. As a result, I didn’t earn much money until I became a doctor. But, I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to learn and grow along the way.

My favorite escape… I don’t really feel the need to escape from everyday life, as I try to make sure that most of what I do is something I have chosen to do. I have also learned that setting boundaries is important for my own self-worth and well-being. So, instead of escaping, I try to be present in the moment and embrace it. For me, activities that allow me to be completely present and not caught up in my thoughts are the ones that feel like an escape in a positive way. For example, dancing without thinking about anything else, practicing mindfulness through activities like writing, or just being outdoors and experiencing nature. These activities help me to surrender to the moment and feel fully present.

My life… As an individual, I would describe my life as a symphony, with many different aspects being coordinated in divine timing. Though there are times where there is a lack of flow, overall, there is a beautiful synchronicity to it. It’s almost like I am the protagonist in a cartoon movie where I am spreading fairy dust and transforming my surroundings. I feel as though I’m constantly making things happen, like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo.

I’m currently working on… I’m currently working on building my brand for Vital Connection MD and maybe adding a few new skill sets, professional skill sets. And then personally, I’m currently in the process of becoming more mindful of my habitual behaviors, many of which I learned during my childhood. By cultivating greater awareness of their impact on my life, I’m looking to break from any negative patterns and create positive change.

In addition, I’ve also been focusing on improving my physical flexibility. I’ve noticed that when I experience stress or suppress feelings of anger – which I’ve come to realize are buried deep within me – it tends to manifest in physical ways such as acid reflux and stiffness in my body. To counteract this, I’m actively working on releasing any physical tension and promoting greater relaxation and openness within myself.

Always… I always remind myself that things will work out in the end, no matter where I am emotionally or what I’m going through. If I’m having a bad day or experiencing something unpleasant, I know that it’s a lesson that I’m meant to learn. This helps me surrender to challenging situations rather than resisting them, since resistance only leads to persistence. Looking back on my experiences, I see that everything happens for a reason and that my challenges have helped me grow and learn. For example, when I struggled with fertility issues and felt like I would never become a mom, I now realize that my resistance and stress only prolonged the issue. So I constantly remind myself to let go and trust that everything will work out in the end.

Never… One thing I never forget is to laugh. I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine and I make it a priority to find joy in everyday life. Whether it’s cracking a joke, being silly, or just enjoying a funny moment, I always try to laugh as loudly as possible, even if people can hear me in the next room. I believe that laughter brings people together and helps to lift everyone’s spirits. So, I always try to keep a positive attitude and a sense of humor, and I encourage those around me to do the same.

Favorite Quote… One of my favorite quotes is actually one that I came up with myself, with the help of a friend. It goes like this: “If it doesn’t make you glow, you have to let it go and go with your flow.” This quote really resonates with me because it’s a reminder to prioritize my own happiness and well-being. If something or someone doesn’t bring positivity into my life, it’s important to let go and focus on what truly matters to me.

Biggest Dream… As for my biggest dream in life, if we’re talking realistically, it’s about engaging in a passion that God has given me abilities for. It’s about understanding that this is my purpose and throwing all my energy into it. I’ve already taken that leap outside of conformity and safety, and I’m following where my instincts take me. It’s a journey that has led me to places I never would have expected could have happened. I live by a quote that says, “When you embrace the unknown, that’s the place where miracles happen.” And that’s exactly what my life has become. Constantly willing to tap into some dark areas of the room and open doors that take me to different dimensions and different lives. It’s like discovering hidden treasures and feeling the excitement of what’s next. Ultimately, I want to continue exploring and experiencing the vast possibilities of life, because that’s where true fulfillment lies.

My Pet Peeve(s)… One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone doesn’t follow through on their commitments. I really value keeping my word, and if I’m unable to fulfill a promise, I make sure to communicate that and make it up in some way. Another thing that bothers me is when people act inauthentically or put on a facade. I prefer genuine interactions and honesty, even if it means showing vulnerability.
