Married/Single: Married

Kids: 9 month old baby

City you live in: Paradise Valley, AZ

A typical day in my life includes… walking with my daughter in our neighborhood, spending some time working from home on administrative tasks for my companies, and seeing patients in my office in Paradise Valley. I love ending my day by having dinner with my family.

I was born… in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in San Diego, CA.

My favorite thing about Arizona… is the restaurant scene and the amazingly beautiful mountain views.

I’m listening to…podcasts and audiobooks on peak performance and leadership. I strongly crave learning more everyday and am always looking for additional skills and tools to use in my personal and professional lives.

My family…is the most important thing in my life. I am fortunate to have loving parents, a wonderful husband, and a great brother. My daughter is the light of my life.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…my husband. I absolutely love and cherish our date nights together. He still makes me laugh more than anyone else.

One thing I cannot live without…is my laptop. I take it everywhere with me, because I never know when I may need to send in a prescription or get on a Zoom visit with a patient who needs to meet on short notice.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…a wedding planner. I love planning and executing events, which has led to my interest in professional development and entrepreneurship.

I’m inspired by…female small business owners and entrepreneurs. It’s truly a continuously evolving balance to manage home life while growing meaningful and impactful businesses.

The person/people who motivate(s) me is/are…the people that inspire me. I am always looking for self-growth opportunities. I enjoy learning from those around me, and I strive to be a better person everyday, in all aspects of life.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…to ensure that all athletes have accessible and confidential mental health services, at all levels of competition.

The perfect day would be…a mix of spending time with my husband and daughter and then having a relaxing spa day with one of my best friends. Having time for self-care, as well as time to spend with my family, are so important to my overall well-being. If I don’t take care of myself, how can I be expected to care for others?

My first job was…stocking shelves at a gift shop in middle school.

My favorite escape…is to be snuggled up on the couch with my husband spending time together after a long day.

My life…makes me happy. I am truly content and happy with life. It’s been a process, but over time, I’ve learned to detach from things going on around me, allowing me to focus on self-awareness and self-fulfillment. I love what I do everyday as a concierge sports and performance psychiatrist and wouldn’t want to do anything else!

I’m currently working on…developing and growing a non-profit organization to further the education and credentialing for physicians interested in board-certification in sports and performance psychiatry. As the President of the American Board of Sports and Performance Psychiatry, the mission is to advance the field and maintain the highest standards for certification, education, and professional practice.

Always…define your own self-worth.

Never…look for validation from others or let external factors influence how you view yourself.

Favorite Quote… “With realization of one’s own potential and self-confidence in one’s ability, one can build a better world.” – The Dalai Lama

Biggest Dream…is to make an impact on the field of sports and performance psychiatry. I want to help educate people across many different professions on how important it is to select a qualified, educated psychiatrist that’s trained to treat mental health conditions in athletes.

My Pet Peeve(s)…is when people use AI to write their social media content and captions! I feel like we’re losing authenticity in this world, and I truly enjoy building genuine connections with people in the community.
