A typical day in my life includes…
my day is so varied. I will work from home mostly in the mornings, and come in to our office at DC Ranch usually in the late mornings (they have the good coffee machine there). Over the course of the day, I will be working on anything from wholesale leads to website updates to social media planning to shipping out orders. I love the variety, it keeps me on my toes!

My favorite thing about Arizona…
definitely the focus on health and wellness out here. There are tons of great places to eat, trails to hike, fitness classes to take. Oh, and happy hour on the patio. Because ya know, balance.

so many things. A dolphin trainer, a journalist, a lawyer, a vet…But I always loved creating new businesses. I am working to create a life that 8-year-old-me would be proud and excited by. I think I’ve done a pretty good job so far!
I’m inspired by…
women who don’t just “work hard” but are successful without sacrificing their health and happiness. There is so much pressure to “hustle” in business (and I’m totally guilty of this too) but I really admire women in business who get sh*t done, and then making a priority out of taking care of themselves and spending time with their family. Seeing other women be real about their success makes that feel so much more attainable.
The one person who motivates me is…
my Mom, Angella. As my business partner in Simple Jane, best friend AND parent, she is the reason I want to keep building and stay inspired to innovate. She is so creative, and I want to always be the strongest version of myself with her.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
people’s stigma about cannabis. At Simple Jane, we are working hard to change people’s perception about integrating cannabis into your life. And whether it’s using CBD products or consuming any other part of the cannabis plant (read: marijuana! I know!) I truly believe there are so many health and wellness problems we can alleviate as a society with this natural resource on our hands and leaving fear, stigma, and misconceptions behind.
The perfect day would be…
a mixture of going to the spa, taking a long walk with my pup with a great view and enjoying a really incredible dinner. My best days are the ones where I have the chance to slow things down and really enjoy being present.
My first job was…
making my own dog treats and selling them door-to-door in my neighborhood. My first “real office” job was a recruiting job for design talent that I took while I lived in San Francisco. It gave me a lot of perspective on great leadership skills, client services and strong company culture and values.
My favorite escape…
a hot yoga class at True Hot Yoga is one of my favorite resets. I also love to ready trashy magic books, which will all-consume me until I read them straight through!
My life…
is fast-paced, unexpected and full of love. I am so lucky to be surrounded by a tribe of cheerleaders, and people that have my back.

finding new hobbies and doing things “just for fun.” I’ve been thinking about tennis? Ice-skating?

I’m kind of a quote dork (see my Instagram) but one of my long-time favorites is “Anyone who does not believe in miracles is not a realist” by way of my girl Audrey Hepburn. Take the most miraculous life you can dream of…and then make it happen.

an unlimited shoe budget! Seems realistic, right?

people who are rude to customer service staff. That’s a huge NO in my book.
