A typical day in my life includes…
you will typically find me teaching (and hopefully taking!) The Bar Method. In between classes, I tackle what every small business owner faces daily: payroll, scheduling, marketing, staff development, etc. A normal day for me also includes Mexican food at some point, and on a great day I get to take my two pups for a hike.
I was born…
first. I’m the only girl and have two amazing younger brothers with whom I exchange silly Snapchats as often as I can.
My favorite thing about Arizona…
what’s not to love? I can (and do!) wear flip-flops year round, everyone is active, and I have family close by. Also, after ten years on the east coast, I appreciate big parking lots a lot more than I used to (no more circling the block for ages looking for a spot) J
I’m listening to…
the latest Bar Method playlist while planning my next class!
My family…
is incredibly supportive. I’m a lucky girl.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…
Tina Fey.
One thing I cannot live without…
cuddles from my pups.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
a pop star. I was foiled by the fact that I cannot sing. At all. But now I get to wear a microphone while I teach class so it all worked out J
I’m inspired by…
my clients! I LOVE watching them discover how strong they really are!
The one person who motivates me is…
my grandfather. He is 93, fought in World War II, was a firefighter, and has worked hard every day of his life!
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
I think the world needs a little bit more empathy.
The perfect day would be…
first a Bar Method class, then a hike with the dogs. Next, a poolside mimosa (can I be transported to Hawaii after the hike?) and a long massage. Dinner would be seafood and I would go to sleep without having to set an alarm for the next morning.
My first job was…
a hostess at Islands Restaurant. Gotta love a good Hawaiian shirt!
My favorite escape…
Miami! In a pinch, binge watching a good show is one of my favorite ways to take a break.
My life…
has changed a lot in the last year and I could not be happier.
I’m currently working on…
continuing to build The Bar Method Phoenix family- and expanding our involvement in the community
Always…
use the Oxford comma!
Never…
underestimate yourself. I’m so lucky that I get to watch people surprise themselves with their own strength and determination every day.
Favorite Quote…
”Where there is love, nothing is too much trouble and there is always time”.
Biggest Dream…
a huge Bar Method community across the Valley.
My Pet Peeve(s)…
distracted drivers.
