Age: it’s a state of mind.

Title: Coach/Consultant and Co-Founder of Fun Fantasy Ritual.

Married/Single: I’m with my life and business partner, Dana Lam.

Kids: Dana’s kids, Ethan and Harrison, round out the mix.

City you live in: Phoenix

A typical day in my life includes…

nothing typically typical and that’s the way I like it!

I was born…

in the Land of Dorothy and Toto, better known as Kansas City.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

after traveling the world, the sunsets here are by far the best.

I’m listening to…

my intuition more closely in 2019.

My family…

is very important to me and although we don’t see each other as often as I like, I’m grateful for how they’ve played an important role in my life.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

my father. He passed away in 2004 and although we didn’t have anything left unsaid or unresolved, I can’t think of anyone I’d rather have the opportunity to have one more dinner with but him.

One thing I cannot live without…

love first and foremost, followed by a great cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of full-bodied Cabernet in the evening.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

of service to people and make a resounding impact in their lives. Fun Fantasy Ritual provides the opportunity to help couples be the happiest couple they know. This makes me very happy!

I’m inspired by…

my mom. At 80 years young, she kicked cancer’s butt and lives a full life filled with travel, art, giving back, friends, family and being one of the most caring people I’ve ever met.

The one person who motivates me is…

Dana. She never ceases to amaze me with her Joie de Vivre and enthusiasm for life. She has an unbridled resolve to make things happen without letting anything get in her way with a motto, “getting it done is better than waiting for perfection!”

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

to make tolerance, non-judgment, compassion and kindness mandatory classes in high school.

The perfect day would be…

with Dana on a secluded beach in the Maldives enjoying the surf, sand and sun, since we love traveling the world.

My first job was…

at 13 years old, working at a women’s shoe store called Pernickety Parlor in Kansas City. It was a side business for my dad and his brother.

My favorite escape…

is traveling internationally to any new place and experiencing the local culture, cuisine and people.

My life…

has been a remarkable journey of self-discovery and in being blessed to have amazing friends and family that love me unconditionally.

I’m currently working on…

making Fun Fantasy Ritual, Fun Friend Ritual and Fun Family Ritual household names and the “go to” brands for couples, singles and families participating in FFR’s around the world.

Always…

choose to be happy over being right.

Never…

forget to tell the people you love how much they mean to you each and every day as you never know when you won’t have the opportunity.

Favorite Quote…

“In life, you either get results or give reasons and stories as to why you aren’t.”

Biggest Dream…

taking Fun Fantasy Ritual global and making a resounding impact in peoples’ lives.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

rudeness, tardiness and bigotry.

Marty and Dana Lam are both business partners and a couple, practicing FFRs for three years! They realized how easy it is as a couple to get stuck in a rut and take each other for granted. They created the Surprise Date Challenge of planning one surprise date a month for each other to keep the spark alive.
