A typical day in my life includes… exercising, working on Sockabu, and making dinner for my family.
I was born… in a small town outside of Chicago.
My favorite thing about Arizona… are the sunsets and open sky.
I’m listening to… Imagine Dragons…still. 🙂 I interviewed the group’s lead singer, Dan Reynolds when I was a reporter for Nightline at ABC News, and I was so impressed by his talent and kindness.
My family… loves a good adventure. Covid slowed us down, but nothing will stop us from exploring the world again soon!
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Lauryn Hill. Whatever happened to her? I wish she would make a comeback!
One thing I cannot live without… dark chocolate.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… an astronaut, makeup artist, chef, and the list goes on! No wonder I was a journalist for so many years, before creating my own sock company!
I’m inspired by… originality. (Think, Little Edie, from Grey Gardens.)
The one person who motivates me is… my kids, collectively.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… to mute the haters.
The perfect day would be… Christmas morning, on repeat.
My first job was… the bureau chief (aka one-woman-band) for the local NBC affiliate in Dubuque, Iowa.
My favorite escape… watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
My life… is full of happiness because I married the love of my life and we are raising really sweet kids.

Biggest Dream… I want to revolutionize the way people wear socks! I literally want everyone in the world to wear and love Sockabu socks! Is that too much to ask? Lol 🙂

As a former TV journalist of 20 years, I have always been inspired by stories of entrepreneurs. I set out to create Sockabu socks as the world’s greatest no-slip sock when my son was learning to walk and needed extra traction to keep him safe.
