A typical day in my life includes… coffee, no question on that. And plenty of music and iPad games.
I was born… in Mesa, AZ not that long ago.
My favorite thing about Arizona… so many places to travel for day trips and so many different landscapes.
I’m listening to… Hamilton, like half the world!
My family… is amazing and is here in AZ and also in Chicago.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Lucille Ball, I would love to get her take on life.
One thing I cannot live without… coffee, probably will mention coffee a few more times too!
When I was younger, I wanted to be… an astronaut, but I didn’t like heights, so there was that.
I’m inspired by… people that silently go about their day and encouraging others to do their best.
The one person who motivates me is… my grandmother, she has always been an amazing spirit and she will be 91 this year, still living in her own house, driving, playing piano for 3 churches (in non-rona times), and still willing and absolutely happy to help family no matter what.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… where do I start? Just for people to try and put themselves in other’s shoes.
The perfect day would be… Disneyland with 10% capacity!
My first job was… technically volunteering for the Mesa Public Library and Arts Center (with my grandmother).
My favorite escape… either California or Laughlin, love the hotels on the river in Laughlin and the laid-back atmosphere.
My life… would not be complete without coffee (see I said I would get it in again).
I’m currently working on… recertification for my SHRM (HR) certificate. I have been in HR for a while as well, and it gives me great insight into Blue House Coffee and operations/HR items.
Always… drink coffee as close to black whenever you can, enjoy the flavor of the coffee!
Never… make a turn in your car without signaling, seriously.
Favorite Quote… “Today is a great day for a great day” – unknown.
Biggest Dream… retire young and travel the country for a year.
My Pet Peeve(s)… people who chew with their mouth open or loudly (another thing I learned early from my grandmother).
