Kids: 3 biological children…we’re were only a few years away from being empty-nesters. Then, as a fostercare family, we were blessed with the responsibility of adopting a brother and sister, ages 2 and 4yrs.
City you live in: Windermere, FL
A typical day in my life includes…Walking and talking, lots of it. I average about 8 miles a day and am on the phone for much of it. It’s how I support our national team. Before that, I start the mornings with time for reflection and giving thanks. It sets a great frame for the day.

I’m listening to… just finished Outlive by Peter Attia…17 hours long and worth every minute!
My family…is fun, loving, generous, and big! Such a blessed part of my life!
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…My grandmother successfully traced our family lineage back to the Mayflower. It would be fascinating to sit with those family members and hear their stories.
One thing I cannot live without…water. Duh. Ha. Actually, I especially mean it. I try to drink one gallon by 10am every morning.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…an officer in the Navy SEALS (and that was before any books, movies, or stories of fame.)
I’m inspired by… comeback stories. I love grit and I appreciate living in a country where you can fail and learn and grown and still completely change your life.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…give me the magic zapper and I’m aiming it first at cancer, then drug addictions, the list goes on after that.
The perfect day would be…on the water, in the water, and under the water. I once had a day in Belize where we went spear fishing in the morning, took a boat to dinner, and then took a late night dip in the resort pool.
My first job was…mowing lawns, stuck with it through college and graduated debt-free and with a pretty healthy savings account. I still mow my own lawn today and love doing it.
My favorite escape…On a boat with my dog at sunset.
My life…is full. It’s blessed beyond my wildest dreams, and so much more than I deserve.
I’m currently working on…a super big tech play. I’ve been on it for a lot of years and it’s almost time to bring it to market.
Always…give more than you take; leave it better than you found it.
Never…go first in the food line, take a last of something, nor leave without cleaning up.
