A typical day in my life includes… Coffee, Get my son ready for school, lead gen, show homes, more lead gen, pick up son from school, make dinner, respond to some emails, bedtime.
I was born… in El Paso TX
My favorite thing about Arizona… I love our ‘winters’ and our summers mostly because we get to be by the pool for about 6 months in the year, which is nice. I also love the mountains and how peaceful it is to drink my cup of coffee in the morning and hearing the birds chirping while just staring out into the beautiful views in my backyard.
I’m listening to… Music that encourages me and podcasts that make me laugh
My family… is my tribe. Very supportive and always encouraging me to be the best version of me.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…
One thing I cannot live without… My son and caffeine. My son is my reason why I continue to work hard everyday and caffeine is the reason that I am ABLE to work as hard as I do every day.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… I first when I was younger wanted to be a nurse until I realized how queezy blood makes me. Then I wanted to be an interior designer because I loved houses and the design of homes, which I realized I just love houses in general. All kinds of houses. Old, new, modern, rustic, etc. Which is how I became a Realtor.
I’m inspired by… All the working moms in the world who are continuing to push through life when its most difficult for them. This year was extremely tough for parents across the world, especially single parents, myself included. Continuing to work, sending your kids to school so that their education doesn’t fall behind, worrying about COVID. It’s been tough seeing parent’s, and families go through all of the hurdles with their kids but our kids are so resilient and just rolling with the punches with little to no complaints. So maybe I’m inspired by the kids also…
The one person who motivates me is… My son. I want to take him on trips that I could never take as a child due to living in a paycheck to paycheck household. I had both my parents working but still struggling. I want to be able to give my son everything (within reason) he wants, when he says he wants a new toy or a new scooter, etc. I don’t want to have to check my bank account to see if I can afford it. He motivates me to work hard every day and wake up daily and get the job done. If I don’t do it for him, nobody else will. So he is my motivation every single day of my life.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… COVID. I’m over it. I’m tired of not being able to hug my grandparents. My grandparents haven’t been able to hug their only great grandchild for over 6 months. I want everybody to be healthy and remain healthy and continue living life as we were before this came and ruined everything for a lot of people and families.
The perfect day would be… A day at the beach with my son rolling around the sand with my brother and dad throwing the football around while my mom, and sister and I relax and enjoy the sound of the waves while cracking jokes with eachother.
My first job was… I worked at a concession stand at softball and baseball games getting paid $7.00/hr when I was 15.
My favorite escape… My patio in my backyard where I can enjoy the gorgeous weather with birds chirping
My life… is hectic at times but I wouldn’t choose any other life.
I’m currently working on… Helping 24 families find their new home this year as well as trying to be one of the top producers on my team.
Always… Persevere.
Never… Give up.
Favorite Quote… Go to bed with satisfaction, wake up with determination.
Biggest Dream… Own my dream home solely without having a mortgage payment, Have my cars paid off, with a couple investment properties under my belt and being able to be in the house flipping side of Real Estate and getting my hands dirty with those flips.
My Pet Peeve(s)… I have a few but mostly when people are so negative about everything. It drives me insane when people can’t see the positive light of anything. It’s always that the glass is half empty for them instead of half full.
