A typical day in my life includes… walking the dog before anything else… (He gives me those eyes!) Working out when I have extra energy, doing something creative in the kitchen, catching up on emails, researching health and fitness tips and trends, developing my new business and looking for ways to expand it.
I was born…in Buffalo, NY (brrrrr)
My favorite thing about Arizona… the ability to explore so many different areas; whether hiking, or just driving around. I never thought I would love the desert, but I do and have come to appreciate the life that thrives in the desert.
I’m listening to… Christian sermons, the latest Netflix series, Praise music on Sirius XM 63 and Mike Broomhead on KTAR.
My family…is my blessing.. My 3 sons live in Florida and I miss them. I plan on going to them in Florida for Mothers Day to “cash in” as most holidays, I am not with them. My husband is my daily wonderful other half of all that I do.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…my Dad again.. He used to take me to dinner as a Father Daughter date once a month while my sister went shopping with my Mom. It must have been an expensive night for my dad as I ordered Surf and Turf and my Mom went shopping! Now, my Dad is 86 and struggling to remember things.
One thing I cannot live without…my husband. We bounce everything off each other and keep each other in check. He is my Home Base!
When I was younger, I wanted to be… a pharmacist. I was enrolled in pharmacy school at The University of Rhode Island at 17 and then discovered my senior year in high school, so I never went to college. I am now focused on healthy alternatives and preventative medicine.
I’m inspired by… colors! I appreciate colors in all things from fashion design to God’s landscapes. They motivate me to create and they comfort me that all will be well in the world if God can create such beautiful colors. I love to paint brightly colored rocks and place them in my garden.
The one person who motivates me is…myself actually, I think that your best motivation is found within you, because if you can believe in yourself and be your own cheerleader—you can be unstoppable.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… getting rid of all evil intentions. Wouldn’t it be nice for everyone to look out for each other’s interests instead of always trying to get ahead and climb over others?
The perfect day would be…a picnic with my family overlooking one of natures “show off” views.. a waterfall, the Grand Canyon or even a beautiful mountain range. All while enjoying my husband and sons while eating good clean food that replenishes our bodies. One with nature!
My first job was…in a drug store at 16 making $1.98 an hour selling jockstraps and cigarettes. I was mortified!
My favorite escape…it used to be going out for a run to clear my head and reset my day. Now that I cannot run (thanks to my knee injury) I am trying out my bike but it isn’t the same. At night, it is diving into a good mystery book (a real book I can hold, not electronic!) so the library is another escape. I secretly want to work in a library as it gives me peace. I even love the smell of the books. So much to learn!
My life…has been terrific with many ups and downs. I have been to many places around the world and met many successful people.. They all have unique stories to tell that I love to hear. Experiences and relationships are what made it all so wonderful.
I’m currently working on… my brand, Kim Alexis, expanding what I offer back to society. I have learned so much and experienced so much that I want to use that to inspire, motivate and teach others.
Always…put God first in all that you do. He directs the rest of your path!
Never…give in to reacting badly to others. Always stay good in all situations!

Biggest Dream…to have the platform to encourage and motivate women all over the world to realize that true health and beauty come from within.
My Pet Peeve(s)… When people say, “Ya know” in their sentences to fill in space, it’s okay to just pause and think before you say your next thought!
Bio-on yourself/company: Kim Alexis is part of an elite team of models who rose to the “supermodel” status in the 1980’s. Kim’s career started when she was discovered at 17 in a Buffalo agency. She moved to New York City and found a remarkably positive response from the fashion and beauty industries. Although she did runway and fashion, she became known for beauty. Kim could be seen repeatedly on magazine covers and had over 500 worldwide including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and set the cover record for Glamour. In 1983 she replaced Lauren Hutton as the face of Revlon’s Ultima II line to then become one of the most recognizable faces in America.
