A typical day in my life includes… Morning snuggles with my son, hot lemon water or a decaf coffee, meetings by 8, connecting to team, solving problems (or starting them!), an event of some sort, evening walk with my family, home and dinner by 6:15.
I was born… Into a family with 3 siblings, I am the second oldest. One brother and 2 sisters.
My favorite thing about Arizona… I used to say the weather, now I say the people! I couldn’t leave Arizona because of the people who are here, who I connect with, relate with, and enjoy spending my life with. And the weather is great, too.
I’m listening to… Rich as F*ck by Amanda Frances.
My family… Is so special to me.
One thing I cannot live without… A notebook and pen(cil).
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… My family.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… The President of the United States.
I’m inspired by… Other people doing cool stuff.
The person/people who motivate(s) me is/are… Myself, My Mom, Other Founders.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… Every politician would be a true “public servant” without pay or personal trading while in office and for 2 years following.
The perfect day would be… A 70 degree day, no work, playing outside with my kids, having a delicious beer with delicious food, reading a really good book, and taking a walk with beautiful scenery.
My first job was… A dishwasher, but my first unpaid job was helping my Mom clean and pull shelves in her grocery store, Greenwood’s Grocery.
My favorite escape… To the mountains.
My life… Is turning out pretty great but still has a lot more chapters.
I’m currently working on… A second location! (shhh…)

Bio-on yourself/company:
Megan Greenwood is the Founder and Owner of Greenwood Brewing located in Phoenix, Arizona. Megan is an engineer and worked in manufacturing engineering for over a decade before launching Greenwood. After receiving a home-brew kit for her birthday in 2014, Megan started brewing regularly and built a microbrewery in her garage where she had multiple beers on tap! She worked full-time while renting space from a local brewery to launch her flagship beers into restaurants and taprooms throughout Arizona. She opened her self-funded Downtown Phoenix Microbrewery and Beer Garden in July 2020 and her beer is now in over 400+ Restaurants, Grocery and Retail Stores throughout Arizona. Megan received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Iowa with a Spanish minor and International Business Certificate, she is an Outstanding Woman in Arizona 2024 and is on the board for the Arizona Talks Foundation.
