A typical day in my life includes… Teaching mommas the beauty of birth and what their body is capable of! Empowering women to be ALL they can be and to DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!
I was born… in Enterprise, Alabama… A southern gal at heart!
My favorite thing about Arizona… The sunsets! I could have the craziest day but walking around the neighborhood with my kids and husband watching an Arizona sunset; that’s magic!
I’m listening to… LoFi chill-hop. The last couple of months, I’ve loved listening to this music because it has no words, just beats. It allows me to think and process my thoughts but still have good background music.
My family… is my everything. From my husband, kids, both my mom and mom in law, my brother, my nephew… Without them, life is still. They bring sunshine into my life.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would it be… my dad and Grandma Clara. What an emotional dinner that’d be!
One thing I cannot live without… Oreo’s! Put a family pack of Oreo’s and some almond milk in front of me and we’re golden!
When I was younger, I wanted to be… so many things! Veterinarian, cheerleader, doctor, flight attendant.
I’m inspired by… my mom and my grandma Clara. My mom was a single parent of 2 and seeing her work her tail off lets me know anything is possible. My grandma Clara because she was literally the sweetest and most positive woman ever. I’d call her about everything and every single time before I got off that phone, she’d pray for me and my family.
The one person who motivates me is… my kids! I strive to be the best person I can be for them. This world is there’s for the taking!
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… shedding more light on mental health!
The perfect day would be… being at the beach with my family. The beach is literally a sacred place for me and add my family in the mix… *chefs kiss*
My first job was… Technically, me and my brother were selling candy and soda out our apartment when we were kids… but legally, A Gelato Shop at Metro Center Mall at 15 years old!
My favorite escape… The ocean. I feel so at peace while watching the waves.
My life… is full of blessings.
I’m currently working on… learning to meditate. Quieting the mind and focusing on breathing is harder than it sounds.
Always… do what makes you happy. Literally a mantra I tell myself daily.
Never… compare yourself. You are exactly where you are supposed to be.
