A typical day in my life includes…
lots of coffee, a work out at the Village, taking Juliette to playdates or classes, working on my blog while she naps, and sometimes a big glass of wine before bed!
I was born…
in Howard County, Maryland which is in between Baltimore and Washington DC. I lived there my entire life… up until 2 years ago when we moved to Scottsdale for my husband’s job.
My favorite thing about Arizona…
is the constant sunshine, gorgeous scenery and beautiful sunsets. The great shopping is up there too!

When I was younger, I wanted to be…
a teacher. I fulfilled my dream and became a Kindergarten teacher after college. I absolutely loved teaching and hope to get back into it one day but for now I am a stay-at-home Mom and wouldn’t trade it for the world.

my older sister, Jamie. She never gives up until she achieves her goal. She also has the biggest heart of anyone I know and is always thinking of others before herself.
The one person who motivates me is…
my husband. He’s such a hard worker and always encourages me to keep trying and to stay positive in any situation.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
less hate, more love.
The perfect day would be…
waking up in a cute little California beach town with my family, bike riding to breakfast and spending some time on the beach. Then finish the day with some shopping (maybe a Drybar appointment too) and a nice dinner out.
My first job was…
lifeguarding! Looking back I can’t believe I was in charge of saving lives at such a young age! I think my favorite part about the job was getting a sun tan, haha!
My favorite escape…
sitting on the beach with a yummy drink. I also love reading other blogs as an escape.
My life…
became complete the day my daughter was born. Nothing will ever top that day. I’m currently working on…growing my blog and having another baby!
