Name: Sophia Gibbs
Age: 27
Title: Blogger and Content Creator
Married/Single: Happily married for 3 years!
Kids: Gemma, our two year old firecracker!
City you live in: Tucson, AZ
A typical day in my life includes…
mommy-ing hard for sure. I try to work on content and collaborative reach-outs during nap-time randomly throughout the day.
I was born…
here in Tucson at North West Hospital.
My favorite thing about Arizona…
I am pretty much obsessed with our sunsets as well as our mountains specifically here in Tucson. It’s something I easily miss whenever I leave town.
I’m listening to…
my daughter continuously ask for “Doggy Pups” which obviously means, the show Puppy Dog Pals. It’s a thing right now, lol.
My family…
is filled with Rock Stars. My husband is the best, and I mean that quite literally. Our family and friends are truly the most supportive, it’s unbelievable. We’re definitely blessed!
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…
ohhhh, Freddie Mercury. Hands Down. I grew up listening to Queen and I don’t think any individual is quite able to gauge the musicality of lyrics and sound quite like him.
One thing I cannot live without…
Coffee?! Haha – is that bad? I mean my family of course, but coffee is close second.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
a fashion designer! I carried along a little sketchbook with me in the car, and around the house. I remember drawing up a pretty daring gown. I loved it!
I’m inspired by…
each and every-one of my close girlfriends and those in my surrounding mama-tribe, they know who they are! But truly, they always offer such initiative and grace while being in twenty places at once all while following their own passions. It’s an amazing thing!
The one person who motivates me is…
Ugh! Just one?! 100% – my husband… Mr. TJ Gibbs. He is the biggest hype man, truly.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
Oh wow, if I could snap my fingers and have Global Warming reverse and disappear, that’d be great! Honestly, I would love to see more genuine care and actions from people – It’s something so simple that can mean so much to another individual.
The perfect day would be…
waking up early with my girl, and drinking some hot coffee while we cuddle and read. Then, spending the day playing on a sandy beach with my family.
My first job was…
the U of A Store at Park Place Mall! Opened the door to my retail career!
My favorite escape…
I would GLADLY take a trip to Target by myself, maybe get a little Starbucks?! It might get a little crazy! Lol, how sad!
My life…
feels like the most beautiful hurricane. I couldn’t be more happy.
I’m currently working on…
creating more blog posts! Writing is something I’ve cherished within these past years, and I love creating this relatability to my readers.
Always…
try. Period. If it scares you – do it anyways. If you fail, you found a way something doesn’t work, and you can do it again.
Never…
compare yourself at this moment to someone else. You are your own individual, this is your own time, your own mindset – focus on yourself.
Favorite Quote…
“And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight and closed in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to bloom”. – I took this to heart while in high-school. I think there are multiple points in life where a chance of change is absolutely terrifying, but completely worthwhile.
Biggest Dream…
I really can’t just even think of one. I feel like I have a thousand dreams, some that have already been accomplished. A huge one would to be in our dream home down the line, another is to celebrate a wedding anniversary someday while on a cliff in Italy surrounded by our closest friends and family. I’d also love to win the lottery, so…
My Pet Peeve(s)…
do we have time for this?! Haha! It makes my skin crawl hearing people chew – drives me absolutely nuts. But, even more so I CANNOT deal with rude people. Working in customer service for so many years, you really see a lot. I just don’t understand the necessity for additional drama especially when it’s completely undeserved. To this day, I have no problem speaking up for an individual if and when that’s the case.
