Meet Jenna Clark, founder of New Light Wellness.
With Jenna’s 15+ years of experience as a yoga instructor, New Light Wellness guides individuals toward healing and self-discovery through practices that focus on nervous system regulation and emotional balance.
“I believe that true healing comes from within. Through these modalities, I help clients navigate personal challenges, whether that’s managing anxiety, chronic pain, grief, or simply seeking a deeper sense of purpose. New Light isn’t just about physical wellness; it’s about helping people reconnect with themselves, unlocking their potential, and living a more fulfilling, purpose-driven life.”
AZF: What is your “life motto?”
JC: My motto is “Amor Fati,” which means love your fate. To me, it means embracing everything that comes my way, both the good and the challenging, as essential parts of my journey. By accepting and loving every experience, I believe we can find meaning and growth, even in the most difficult moments. It’s a reminder to live fully, with gratitude for whatever life brings.
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?
JC: No, I didn’t always know. For a long time, I was content being a mom and teaching yoga at a studio. However, as I went through my own healing journey and began coaching others, I realized there was more I wanted to offer. I started to see that I had the potential to create something bigger – a business that could truly empower others on their path to healing and transformation. That realization made me step into entrepreneurship and build something that aligned with my purpose and vision for a more fulfilling life.
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
JC: By prioritizing self-care and surrounding myself with encouraging, growth-oriented people. Being in a positive, uplifting environment with like-minded individuals keeps me inspired and accountable on my journey.
AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
JC: What keeps me going is knowing that the work I do has the potential to positively impact so many lives. These practices – movement, breathwork, and energy work – have truly transformed my own life, and seeing the same transformation in my clients, whether through healing, self-discovery, or simply finding peace in their daily lives, reminds me why I began this journey. Challenges are part of the process, but knowing I’m making a real difference in people’s lives gives me the strength and motivation to keep pushing forward.
AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
JC: It changes depending on what I need that week. Some weekends, it’s about rest – sleeping in, enjoying a slow start, and giving myself time to recharge. On other Saturdays, I crave movement, so I’ll go for a hike or get a workout in. The key for me is tuning into what my body and mind need at that moment. Learning to slow down, listen to myself, and honor those needs has been one of the greatest gifts I’ve given myself. It’s about balance and self-care.
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
JC: Map out what you want your days to look and feel like, and build your business from there. Without a clear vision of where you want to go, it’s hard to get there. Also, don’t try to do it all on your own. Hire a coach, seek support from others, and focus on personal development. Taking care of yourself and your nervous system is just as important as building your business.
AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?
JC: What excites me most is the freedom to create the life I want. I can choose how I spend my time and shape my days around work that aligns with my passion. Entrepreneurship also allows me to continuously grow and evolve, both personally and professionally, while helping others on their healing journey. It’s empowering to combine purpose with impact in a way that brings fulfillment every day.
