AZF: What is your “life motto?”
BF: Work hard, play hard!
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?
BF: Yes! I always knew I wanted to own my own business, but it wasn’t until I was in college that I found a passion for advertising. I wanted to live in Australia for the summer but needed a job and just so happened to land an internship at an advertising agency in Sydney, which was my ticket out there…little did I know I’d end up loving the industry!
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
BF: I have the best husband and team I could ask for. My husband has been the constant reassurance and cheerleader to keep going when things are hard. I have built a team I am extremely proud of. Digital Natives wouldn’t be what it is without the team.
AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
BF: Knowing that my team depends on me – and everything ends up working out.
AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
BF: Waking up and going for a jog with my daughter, husband and puppy, Bella. Then, grabbing coffee or breakfast together.
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
BF: Keep pushing and believe in yourself. There are going to be a lot of challenges after taking that leap of faith, but nine times out of 10, the hard work will pay off.
AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?
BF: I love seeing hard work pay off. Being an entrepreneur is hard and stressful, but seeing hard work pay off and getting building a team with the same vision and mission is really special. As cliché as it is to say, I also love our clients and am so passionate about helping them build their businesses. One of the best parts about my job is playing a small part in their success stories.
