AZF: What is your “life motto”?
GC: I wish I could say…”Enjoy the little moments”.. or “Live, Laugh and Love”, but it wouldn’t be true. I spend a lot of time trying to control things around me, which is a terrible habit, but I’ve started asking myself, what’s the worst case scenario? If I have a game plan for that, then I feel like I can conquer anything.

AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?
GC: From an early age I was always trying to find a better way or another way. I challenged everything and have always loved creating something from scratch.

AZF: How do you feel best supported?
GC: A strong team. Whether it’s at home, in business or in my friendships, the people I choose to have in my circle can have the biggest impact. It’s continuous work, but completely worth it.

AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst of the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
GC: When things are hard, I remind myself that if it were easy, everyone would be doing it. A challenge becomes a new goal or opportunity to adapt. Nothing is ever the same, which is a big reason why I love this life.

AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
GC: A fun morning workout with some friends, a giant cup of coffee and then some yummy breakfast with my boys.

AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
GC: Just go. You’ve got an idea, who cares? You’ve got an idea and some action…now we’re talking. It’s easy to find excuses when we’re scared or nervous, but if you can push through that little bit of uncomfortableness, you’ll be amazed what you can accomplish on the other side.
