Meet Tracy Bayles, owner of Creative Concepts Woodworking and Remodeling, Inc.
“We are a full service residential and commercial remodeling contracting company. We started as a custom woodworking company and have grown to a general contracting company. We ave been in business since 1996 and get most of our business thru referrals from happy clients! We can build your project from the ground up or remodel your space. We do additions, bathroom and kitchen remodels & we have done custom showers for over 20 years. We also have a group of great sub contractors that allow us to offer electrical, plumbing, HVAC just to mention a few.”
AZF: What is your “life motto?”
TB: Stay consistent, work hard, be in the moment, & love all that life gives you even the hard times there is such value in it.
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?
TB: Yes but I also have a love for teaching & pursued it for over 18 years. As our company grew I knew it was time to take the next step into CCWR full time with my husband. It took some life experience to make the move & I am so happy.
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
TB: Working together with my husband & crew. Having community with like minded women in the industry through The Foundress. We also mentor with professionals that help build our business thru advice & guidance.
AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
TB: The start of the project with a client and the thrill of seeing a customers face when the project is completed. The freedom it allows our family for personal time and flexibility with work hours.
AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
TB: Waking up early & heading to my garden in my backyard with a cup of coffee. Picking veggies & herbs to make a beautiful breakfast for my family. Then heading to the local farmers market to enjoy all the local community has to offer.
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
TB: Don’t stop even when it gets hard. Keep showing up for yourself & others you work with. Baby Steps, stay consistent, have faith that you will succeed, and don’t be afraid to talk about your business with everyone you meet and seek advice from others that have gone before you.
AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?
TB: Building our business from nothing to a business that will last for generations!
