is by Viktor Frankl. As he was walking through the horrors of Ausvitch death camp during the holocaust he said:
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way”.
To think that somebody walking through literal hell was able to have this perspective changed my life. Cognitive thinking is so important, and I try to practice it as much as I can.
