my brother-in-law, Kevin. This guy is honest, reliable and just all-around a good person. We’ve all heard the saying “It’s not what you do when people are watching, it’s what you do when people aren’t watching that counts” right? This is Kevin…solid, solid human being.
The one person who motivates me is…
my wife – before we got married she said, “I don’t need to be super wealthy and have fancy things, but I do want to be comfortable”. That resonated with me. Not to say we wouldn’t be together if we weren’t as fortunate as we are. We have definitely had our moments where we only had $5 to put in the gas tank. Regardless, I took her desires to heart and that alone motivates me daily to ensure she is able to live the life she wants and deserves.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
politicians. So much of our world is based on politician’s decisions. If their “true” intentions were better, the domino effect would be incredible.
The perfect day would be…
right now we’re in the phase of life where we have little ones at home, so traveling has been minimal. This being the case, my perfect day would be my family and close friends’ families all staying at beach houses neighboring each other. San Diego weather, kids playing on the beach, music, volleyball, Moscow Mules, bonfire at night, etc. At this moment in life this would be a perfect day!
My first job was…
a waiter at a retirement home. I did this on the weekends during high school to pay for my car insurance. After a few months and small paychecks I realized it wasn’t going to cut it. So, I got a job as a telemarketer. This is where I learned how to sell…at the time I don’t recall enjoying calling people and selling for hours and hours every day. However, looking back this job gave me a foundation that opened several doors in the future.
My favorite escape…
it’s always surprising to people when I tell them I hunt. I guess I don’t fit the mold, lol. But I love hunting. Being in the beautiful Northern Arizona mountains, amazing weather and no reception! It’s a great way to disconnect and recharge.
My life…
is super blessed! When I look at where I came from, the life I was living, to where I am today, the only way I can sum it up is blessed. I’m extremely fortunate to have the family I do and to be in the position I’m in. I hope to achieve more along the way. However, I never take my current position for granted.

growing my business Strategic Business Brokers Group and developing a new business with my wife, hopefully launching in the next 60-90 days.
