A typical day in my life includes…
when I’m not making or editing photos I’m often road tripping through the beautiful landscapes of the desert southwest. My last big road trip included a nine-hour round trip drive to Arizona Hot Springs which involved hiking pack rafts down to the Colorado River and a hike up a narrow slot canyon to the springs followed by a few hours of soaking before packing up and hiking back out.

and raised in a farm town in Central Indiana.
My favorite thing about Arizona…
the landscape diversity… you could go from t-shirt weather to skiing and or fly fishing and back in a single afternoon. I also love all the summer swimming holes and cliff jumping that exists up North.

myself… I believe in total accountability and I hold my own feet to the proverbial fire. If anything I’m much more motivated by death. There’s no time like the present to be the person you’ve always wanted to be.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
to remove the world’s dependence on fossil fuels and help us to be a less extractive society.
The perfect day would be…
spent fly fishing in the Wind River Range in Wyoming or on a month-long road trip somewhere in the mountains. Living in the moment, not focused on the past or the future.
My first job was…
making sandwiches for Blimpie.
My favorite escape…
was when I spent three months living on the Spanish island of Tenerife in the Canaries without a phone, body surfing and hiking through the volcanic landscape.
