A typical day in my life includes…
getting up super early by 5:00 am, working out, catching up on current events, having tea with my husband before he goes off to work. Eating something healthy like a juice, fruit or gluten-free oatmeal. Starting my day focusing on the activities I have to accomplish for the charity events I am involved in, whether it’s the Art Museum, Free Arts, Umom or one of the many other organizations.
I was born…
in Bath, Maine but lived mostly in Brunswick, Maine growing up until college.
My favorite thing about Arizona…
I absolutely love sunsets and sunrises here. I love how much it has evolved here since I moved here. Culturally its improved so much! The Arts program, the restaurants, car shows, hiking places.… just so many fun things this state has to offer. It’s a gorgeous, clean place to live and up until recently, it was the best-kept secret in the US. Now people are flocking here.
I’m listening to…
a wide range of music… I love so much! U2, Chicago, Michael Buble, Elton John, Billy Joel, John Legend, Cat Stevens and the list goes on…
My family…
is wonderful and so important to my life and heart. My mother is the sweetest woman. My nephews are all the most wonderful boys. My stepdaughters are special young ladies. My husband Blair is my rock and my love. They are my support group and my everything. My husband is my best friend.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…
my husband Blair when he was high school before I ever met him… I think that would be so fun!
One thing I cannot live without…
my matcha tea every day.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
a clothing fashion designer.
I’m inspired by…
powerful people who have worked hard in whatever field they are in.
The one person who motivates me is…
my husband!
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
to have no more homeless or abused children in the world.
The perfect day would be…
sitting on the beach in Capri, Italy with my husband and a glass of sparkling rose while looking out at the ocean.
My first job was…
a sales associate at Anne Klein during the summer when I was in high school.
My favorite escape…
is going with my husband to the Peninsula in Beverly Hills.
My life…
is exactly where I imagined it to be, thanks to God. I feel blessed!
I’m currently working on…
Co-chairing the Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona Art Auction in April with Liz Shabaker and Lisa Grieve. We are thrilled and honored to help raise money for this amazing organization. Free Arts provides creative and therapeutic arts programs, at no cost, to children who have experienced abuse, neglect or homelessness. It gives the children hope for a brighter future!
Always…
be kind even when you don’t want to be.
Never…
