Bio-on yourself/company: I was born and raised in the southeast Valley, where I graduated from Corona del Sol High School in 2006. During my time at Corona, I was a part of one of the best high school basketball programs in the country where we ranked at one point #19 in the country. Following my time at Corona, I went on to play junior college basketball in Prescott at Yavapai Community College. Following my stint of collegiate basketball, I transferred to Arizona State University where I graduated in 2010 with a communications degree.
Legacy Sports USA has always been a dream of my father’s ever since I can since I can remember. I remember seeing park renderings in his office when I was 4 years old. The dream was a vision of my dad’s when me and my brother were little kids playing sports.
Come January 2022, Legacy Sports USA will become a reality as a 320-acre, world-class family sports and entertainment park. The one-of-a-kind Bell Bank Park features a 3,000 seat outdoor stadium, eSports arena, indoor arena, 35 soccer/lacrosse/football fields, 57 indoor volleyball courts, 8 baseball and softball fields, 20 basketball courts, 41 pickleball courts, 12 beach volleyball courts, Obstacle Course Racing Park, 22 futsal courts, gymnastics center, dance studio, cheer center, sports performance center, family fitness center, wellness center, kids play center, 2.7 acre Great Lawn for concerts and events, 18,000 square-foot sports restaurant and bar, and so much more.
A typical day in my life includes… Wake up at 5 a.m. I then take some time to myself where I plan out the day, check emails, make coffee, set goals to accomplish each and every day. 6:30 a.m. comes around and it’s time for my daughter, Brynley, to get up! I go in and get her ready for the day and make her breakfast and make my wife coffee. I give my wife and daughter a kiss goodbye for the day around 7 a.m. and I’m off to Bell Bank Park and the grind continues! I try to always make it home for dinner time around 5:30 p.m. and have family time for a couple hours and then I cap the night off with getting some more work done and plan out some key items for the next day.
I was born… in Tempe
My favorite thing about Arizona… Great people and close to several vacation spots if we ever want to get away for the weekend. Our winters are absolutely amazing in the Valley!
I’m listening to… Country music
My family… They mean the absolute world to me. I love them more than they will ever know and I always cherish the time we spend together.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Mark Cuban because he’s an entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist and I’m a big fan of Shark Tank.
One thing I cannot live without… My family and my faith.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… A professional athlete.
I’m inspired by… Motivational stories where people overcome unbelievable obstacles in life.
The one person who motivates me is… My daughter. I want to be the very best father and role model for her.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… Sickness. I wish no one ever got sick and everyone had the opportunity to live a long and happy life.
The perfect day would be… Any day I get to spend it with my family is a perfect day.
My first job was… A Kool-Aid stand in the 2nd grade… and we ran out of Kool-Aid.
My life… has its ups and downs just like anyone else in this world, but I’m extremely blessed to have an amazing family and I surround myself with unbelievable friends, coworkers and mentors.
I’m currently working on… Getting Bell Bank Park at Legacy Sports USA opened in January, and also working on our next two locations in other states!
Always… give it your all!
Never… Never say never, miracles can and do happen in life.
Favorite Quote… “It’s not whether you get knocked down; it’s whether you get up.” – Vince Lombardi
Biggest Dream… Our family’s dream is currently becoming a reality with Legacy Sports USA coming to life here in my hometown! In addition to Legacy, I wish to live a long and healthy life with my family and friends.
My Pet Peeve(s)… Spoilers! When someone accidentally tells me about a movie or show that I really want to watch and they tell me what happens before I can even watch it. Or when my wife says she is not hungry but then eats all my fries.
