A typical day in my life includes: The world of home design, new home builds, pickleball, pilates and my family bundled into one busy day with a sprinkle of mahjong and a lot of gratitude.

I was born… in Southern California

My favorite thing about Arizona… the breathtaking cotton candy sunsets.

I’m listening to… a large variety including audiobooks, hip-hop and rap, acoustic covers and country. 90’s rap always gets me on the dance floor.

My family… is a beautiful blend of uniqueness, togetherness and laughter. The age gap extends 18 years from my oldest to youngest.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…My grandfather has a profound sentiment that resides within me. Just one more time to hear his tales and write them all down.

One thing I cannot live without…Matcha. You name it, matcha latte, matcha lemonade, matcha ice cream, on and on the list goes.

When I was younger, I wanted to be… a child psychologist as children have always captured my heart.

I’m inspired by… people who exude authenticity and embrace their true selves.

The one person who motivates me is…it is not one, it’s five…my family.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… peace, because peace passes

understanding, and I think we all need more of this daily.

The perfect day would be…a quick cold plunge, work out, time with family and friends

under the warm sun, where time stands still, and it ends with no regrets.

My first job was… a nanny at 14 to 4 children.

My favorite escape…a tropical beach, 75 degrees and warm water with my husband

My life…My heart overflows, I am truly privileged to encounter so much love and be able to return it to the souls I cherish, that not only do I embrace but serve as constant inspiration to me.

I’m currently working on…In the heart of Sonoma, CA is my newest venture, a new build home with picturesque scenery, embellished with a cozy cigar lounge, meticulously curated wine cellar and views that stretch past the horizon.

Always…Always Embrace love from the very start, for when you tread the path of love, your heart knows no remorse.

Never…Bid farewell to dusk with a heart at peace, devoid of angers hold, never go to bed mad.

Favorite Quote… “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” —Martin Luther King Jr.

Biggest Dream…Honestly, that myself, husband and children are all satisfied by a healthy and long life. Preferably near a villa in Positano overlooking turquoise waters.

Bio on yourself/company: Relocating from sunny Southern California to Phoenix, Corinne Barkan sought to further her education in business at Arizona State University. After ASU, she dived into the fast-paced world of real estate, catering to every aspect of buying, selling, building, developing, and designing homes. Being a nurturing mother, Corinne embraced the joys of raising her four remarkable children, aged 26, 16, 14, and 8. You can often find her on the sidelines of lacrosse fields or tennisand basketball courts, wholeheartedly cheering on her kids in their various pursuits. Despite her desert surroundings, Corinne’s love for the beach tugs her back home frequently, particularly during the blissful summer months. Apart from her family and professional life, she finds solace in practicing Pilates, playing pickleball, and indulging in heartfelt laughter that resonates.
