Meet Lauren Lostumo, 20 year-old beauty with FORD Robert Black Agency, as she talks about her beauty tips, Victoria Secret and everything in between.
Where were you born?
Gilbert, AZ.
What made you decide to become a model?
I fell into it at a young age and it ended up being a way I could express myself through photos, it became my passion.
What major cities have you modeled in?
Last year I lived in Los Angeles and modeled as a career and I have also traveled to New York to do a job when I graduated high school.
Who is your favorite designer?
My favorite designer is Whitney Eve. Her flowing and patterned pieces are young but mature.
Who is your favorite model?
Anyone who knows me, knows that my absolute favorite model is Candice Swanepoel, a Victoria’s Secret Angel. I met her when I lived in Los Angeles and I almost passed out. She’s such an inspiration and an amazing model.
If you could be on the cover of any magazine, what would it be and why?
I would 100% love to be on the cover of Victoria’s Secret. It is a lifetime goal of mine.
Where is your favorite location to shoot?
My favorite location to shoot is in Malibu, California. There’s nothing like shooting at the beach, in the sand with perfect weather.
Can you share your favorite beauty secrets?
Eating healthy and taking care of my body has become part of my lifestyle. As a model your skin is obviously very important and my number one beauty secret is DRINK WATER! It’s a running joke in my family the amount of water I drink in a day (probably 2 gallons). It makes your skin glow and gives me so much energy! Also, I apply face moisturizer probably 5 times a day! When I wake up, before I put make up on, when I take my makeup off, after a shower, before the gym… ALL THE TIME.
Who inspires you and why?
My younger sister, Tatum inspires me more than anyone. She’s 2 1/2 years younger, but her motivation to be the best she can wether it is in school, sports or improving herself is incredible. She is an inspiration to anyone she meets. I’m blessed she’s not only my sister, but my best friend.
iPhone or Blackberry?
I used to be a Blackberry girl, but hands now IPHONE! I would be lost without it and I do not think I could have survived my experience in LA without it. As a model you need to be ready and able to get ahold of 24/7 and the iPhone is a “lifesaver.”
What do you hope to accomplish by the end of this year?
By the end of this year I hope to inspire someone. It’s a passion of mine to help others reach their fullest potential and chase after their dreams. I did it and it was the best decision I have ever made and I love to encourage others and be there for someone with any questions! It is incredible for someone to tell you, “you really inspire me”, it actually brings tears to my eyes. I love seeing someone chase their dreams and knowing that I motivated them to do so, is very humbling.
