With fall creeping up on us (ever so slowly), it’s a perfect time to head north to Sedona, even for just a short weekend getaway.
Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock
Check in to Hilton Sedona, a modern resort where every room features a private balcony or patio so you can take in all the stunning Red Rock views. The hotel recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation and has all the resort amenities you could want. Cool off in two pools, unwind at Eforea Spa, warm up in multiple hot tubs, work up a sweat at the outdoor fitness facility and the Sedona Athletic Club, or tee up at the Championship Gary Panks designed golf course. Venture down to the lobby area to book an adventure tour or grab one of the “to-go” hiking maps. The mini maps feature all the best trails in town and are attached to hiking clips so you can easily take them with you.
Pink Jeep Tours
A must-do in Sedona, Pink Jeep Tours will take you to hard-to-reach spots and scenic lookout points throughout the Red Rock Country. Hop into one of the many Pink Jeep Wranglers and buckle up for an exhilarating off-road adventure, ranging from one-and-one-half hours up to four hours. Explore the Mogollon Rim, ancient ruins, the Coconino National Forest, Verde Valley and more. For the most extreme adventure, book the Broken Arrow Tour. The rugged adventure takes riders off-roading atop the Red Rocks and is exclusively offered through Pink Jeep.
Sedona Fudge Company
Got a sweet tooth? Stop by one of Sedona’s favorite sweet shops for a sugary fix of the tastiest fudge around. With 35 years in business, Sedona Fudge has a variety of truffles, fudge and more to choose from. You can even watch as they prepare the hand-made fudge in the cozy store front.
ShadowRock Tap + Table
If you’re staying at Hilton Sedona, you won’t have to travel far for this dining gem. The hotel’s restaurant has a spot for everyone to kick back at. Indoors, a large rectangular bar encourages hours of sipping and chatting, but when in Sedona, the outdoors is a must. With a backyard vibe, the outdoors features games like corn hole and ping pong, along with string lights, cozy chairs, a dining area, fire pits and Red Rock views. Open for all three meals, make sure you visit during dinner so you can top off your day with a s’mores skillet. ShadowRock is also pup-friendly and offers stargazing on Fridays and a build-your-own Bloody Mary Bar during Sunday brunch. Yum!
