As one of Sedona’s go-to destinations for cocktails and red rock views, SaltRock Kitchen‘s newest lead bartender Eddy Rocha has pulled inspiration from the changing landscape to debut a new seasonal cocktail menu.
The cocktails feature familiar ingredients with playful twists. The cocktail he’s most excited for? A house-made forbidden rice horchata! He’s also debuting an exciting new up-and-coming technique of milk washing to balance out the tannins commonly found in tea-based cocktails to give it a more velvety, smooth texture.
Other standouts from the new menu include:
Emperor’s Horchata: A boozy version of the Hispanic favorite, this cocktail features plantation rum, Liquor 43, cognac and house-made forbidden rice horchata.
Milk & Honey: Milk-washed and featuring earl grey-infused gin, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, sage honey syrup and lemon.
Crescent Moon: Dried cranberry-infused vodka, bourbon-aged wine syrup, egg white and lemon.
What’s Up Doc: Bulleit bourbon, Fernet Branca, carrot ginger juice and lemon with a thyme garnish.
