If you’re seeking serious luxury in California, book a stay at Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara where they’ve just debuted a stunner of a villa. Commissioned by Ty Warner (yes, that Ty Warner), the 4,000-square-foot villa is situated in between the Santa Ynez Mountains and Pacific Ocean on 22-acres of lush jungle gardens.
“The Ty Warner Villa is truly the most exclusive and private accommodation. Mr. Warner commissioned an incredible group of experts in their craft to create a villa that would exceed the expectations of even the most discerning traveler.”
Karen Earp, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara
The villa is accessed via its own camera-monitored private driveway that leads to an outdoor terrace with an oceanfront 12’x15′ heated plunge pool with whirlpool jets, a croquet lawn, Sonos surround sound system and fireplace.
Inside, the open-concept floor plan is highlighted by custom wood wainscot and coffered wall paneling, white-washed wide plank oak floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, French doors, custom dim-to-warm recessed lighting, antique chandeliers, antique Persian rugs, inlaid Italian marquetry, an exquisite Moonshadow quartzite marble slab bar with dual wine storage and beverage centers and a backlit built-in craftsman library wall.
The master bedroom is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Santa Barbara coastline. Guests can enjoy a fireplace with hand painted tile, custom upholstered seating, an estate-size walk-in wardrobe and more. The luxury continues in the bathroom with a deep-soaking custom designed bathtub carved from a single piece of French limestone. There is also a frameless glass-walled dual couples rain shower. A 20-foot frameless glass wall leads to the 150-square-foot outdoor jungle rain terrace.
Additional amenities include a sunlit private patio with an Andalusian hand painted-tile fountain, stone fire pit and a concrete dining table (that transforms into table tennis).
Guests of the Ty Warner Villa also get exclusive resort perks like butler service, a complimentary car wash, pedicab transportation around the resort, access to members-only Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club, use of the private poolside cabana Cabana 24 and select tee times at Montecito Club.
The Ty Warner Villa is $12,500 per night.
