Anybody here love Christmas? And chocolate?
If so, then prepare yourself for the Christmas/chocolate collab of the year: Park Hyatt Aviara Resort‘s 9-foot chocolate Christmas tree.
You heard that right, 9 feet.
To top it off, this Christmas tree will be surrounded by a recreation of Santa’s workshop made from some seriously tasty treats.
Santa’s mini workshop at the resort will be made of modeling chocolate, gingerbread, Rice Krispies, and of course, sugar.
Not only will this be a display of all things tasty, it will also tell the story of how Santa’s elves prep for Christmas gift delivery.
This incredible display is all thanks to master chocolatier, Chef Rull. His awards include 1st place at the U.S. National Showpiece Competition for the Best Chocolate Showpiece and Best Showpiece Artiste in 2014 and 2015.
With the goal in mind to outdo last year’s 250-pound chocolate train, Chef Rull will not disappoint.
You’ll be able to see Santa’s workshop and the tree in all of it’s Christmas glory starting November 29.

Teddy Bear Tea at Park Lounge
Kids will love the opportunity to sip on tea and share the love of teddy bears throughout the month of December. The whole family is welcome to join as the “Peppermint Princess” tells stories and entertains while you sip on your favorite tea.
The resort asks that children bring a teddy bear to donate to Rady’s Children Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.
This is priced at $50 per adult, and $35 for children 12 and under.
Gingerbread Class
Learn from the pros how to make the perfect gingerbread house. With a variety of opportunities, you will be able to, along with the whole family, construct your ideal gingerbread house.
This is priced at $60 per person and requires advance reservations.
Roasted Chestnuts & Festive Drinks
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire? Yes, please! From December 20-24, guests of the resort can indulge in complimentary freshly roasted chestnuts. Also, from November 27-December 27, guests will also be loving the rich hot chocolate and refreshing warm apple cider in the lobby.
