Yes, you heard that right.
The one, the only Kristi Yamaguchi — the skating legend of the 90s.
Inaugural Tree Lighting Ceremony | Monday, December 4
On December 4, Ms. Yamaguchi will be hosting the first ever tree lighting ceremony at the fabulous Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
At 7 p.m., guests from all over will gather to watch the 36-foot tall Christmas tree shine its light on the Las Vegas Strip.
And that’s only one part of the festivities happening at The Cosmopolitan this winter.
Here are some exciting events you won’t want to miss.

Vice on Ice | Friday, December 15
Prepare to show your skills on the ice rink dance floor with the Vice on Ice event on December 15 — DJ Vice will be rocking the set from 7 to 10 p.m.
You’re sure to love this event even more than your average night at the club because this night will provide you the opportunity to give back to the community through TAO Group Cares’ Holiday Drive that benefits the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.
Skating is free this night, but donations are definitely welcome from NPHY’s Holiday Wish List. By donating you’ll get free entry into Marquee Nightclub that night for the official Vice on Ice after-party.
You can also enter into the social media contest, where the winner will get free skating for 6 as well as the hotel’s premium fire pit package.
The rink at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas opens up on November 20, and will stay open until January 10. The hours are M-F 3 p.m. – midnight, and Saturday/Sunday 12 p.m. – midnight. Enjoy a holiday menu filled with tasty festive treats and drinks, and enjoy all-day access to skating for just $20.
