Man + Man Exhibit at FOUND: RE
As one of the top galleries in the Valley, FOUND RE: has announced its December exhibit: Man + Man.
The final installment of a three-part series by artist Aileen Frick, Man + Man encourages people to take a look at their relationships with themselves, and with each other.
Man + Made and Man + Nature were Frick’s previous two parts of this exhibit that explored how people interact with art as well as nature.
The work of Frick begins with photography but by the time she’s finished, her work has transformed into a multi-dimensional (in more ways than one) piece of art.
This exhibit opens December 1 with an artist reception at 6 p.m.

Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass’ Storytelling & Song Program
2017 marks the 11th year of the Storytelling & Song program — an opportunity to take a deeper look into the heritage and culture of the Gila River Indian Community, and it’s all taking place at Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass.
Storytellers from the community come together to share legends filled with moral lessons as well as personal stories about growing up on Tribal lands.
Song and dance are also part of the festivities — together all of the program helps people to gain cultural awareness about such a large part of the population in the Valley.
Storytelling & Song opens on December 7 with a ceremonial blessing, and continues until February 17.
Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass serves as the headquarters for this program, and the Resort’s Cultural Concierge, Rosie Rivera has worked closely with the Gila River Indian Community to ensure another successful program year.
