The JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa has recently unveiled a $12.5 million renovation on the heels of its 85th anniversary.
Located at the base of Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley, the historic Phoenix resort, which opened in 1936, has refreshed all 453 of its pueblo-style guest casitas and suites, as well as the lobby, restaurants and patios across the 125-acre property.
According to the resort, the brand new guest room design took inspiration from “tumbleweed patterns, crackled earth textures and warm desert hues accented with highlights of blue,” where “bronze, stone, weathered woods and quartz were incorporated throughout the interiors that compliment all new furniture and custom graphics in each room.”
Meanwhile, the Camelback Inn’s iconic lobby, with its original brick adobe walls, was updated with new furniture featuring warm creams and taupe colored leathers, light grey fabrics and contemporary lighting for an inviting space that offers a charming ambiance with a hint of rustic flair.
