Mii amo Sedona Ranked Among World’s Best New Hotels

You don’t have to travel across the globe to stay in one of the world’s latest top-of-the-line hotels. Travel + Leisure has named Mii amo at Enchantment Resort in Sedona as one of the 100 best new hotels in the world for 2023, ranking the spa resort among the top destinations for new wellness getaways, affordable luxury and more.

Nestled among sweeping red rock formations and scattered cacti, the newly-renovated Mii amo spa and resort offers elevated stays that encourage exploration both outwards and inwards.

Gluckman Tang Architects, who are known for their work on cultural institutions like Madrid’s Prado Museum and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City, designed Mii amo’s new spaces to capture the desert surroundings and enhance guests’ connections with nature.

Natural materials, such as river stone, concrete floors, coffered wood ceilings and wool rugs, are integrated into the freshly-designed accommodations and spa facilities, while extended wellness programs offer new ways to experience the healing power of nature and self-care.

During a yoga class in the new 3,300-square-foot fitness and movement center, guests can take in the serene view of the outdoor Sensory Garden or capture a mirrored reflection of canyons in the distance. For optimal mind and body rejuvenation, the updated spa hosts multiple treatment rooms and saunas with services that include ancestral stone massages, sound bath healings and labyrinth walk meditations.

The new signature restaurant, Hummingbird at Mii amo, offers a delectable culinary program curated by Chef Seamus Mullen that sources seasonal produce from a chef’s garden as well as from nearby farms, ranches and orchards to ensure a healthy fine dining experience.

Accommodations in the brand new guest casitas feature fireplaces, private outdoor spaces, heated bathroom floors and soaking tubs with views of Boynton Canyon, providing a tranquil place for guests to start and end the day.
