An iced shellfish tower, made-to-order omelet bar, and entrées ranging from leg of lamb to pan-roasted organic salmon are just a sampling of the culinary treats in store at the Mother’s Day Buffet. For those with a sweet tooth, there will be a dessert waffle and strawberry shortcake station. Drink options will include a fresh pressed juice bar, Bloody Mary bar, and champagne display. Meanwhile, an elegant Mother’s Day Brunch in elements restaurant will feature a three-course menu of epicurean delights. Among the appetizer highlights are opah crudo with aquachile, avocado, shaved radish and cilantro and a sweet pea cavatelli with morel mushrooms, pearl onions, black truffle, and duck confit. Entrées range from bbq shrimp ‘n grits with sunny-side-up egg and Moroccan chorizo broth to coriander crusted Alaskan halibut with spring vegetables, pineapple green curry, Penn Cove mussels, and Thai basil. A dessert choice of five spice fruit tart, almond joy torte, and tiramisu will round out the meal. The Mother’s Day brunch is priced at $85 per person, plus beverages, tax and gratuity; $30 for children 12 and under, and will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Westin La Paloma
